Below is a collection of my Instagram Poetry. I no longer actively post on Instagram but I posted poetry actively in 2018 and 2019 as was featured on a couple blogs. The high time of Insta poetry really before AI was a twinkle in our eyes.



It was a fun time, but it also made me understand that Instagram poets have the same massive issues that poets from the "academy" aka establishment aka famous established published poets do. Elitism, and a lack of actual care for their community. Insta poets just want to be on top and burn the ladder after they get there.



For me an essential tenant of poetry is community, because it is an essential tenant of writing is community. You cannot be a poet or writer in isolation. I became a bit over by the Insta machine, so I eventually stopped posting.



I really did enjoy mixing graphics with my words and it's something I have a strong desire to come back towards one day.





WIP: Currently working on dating pieces, and noting which were featured on which Insta blogs. :p
